Ellie HoundEllie came into our lives in October of 1999. She was retired early, never having made it past her maiden race. Adopted once before, she was essentially abandoned six months later and had been in foster care with a friend of mine until Katie and I decided to take her home. A sweet and
silly Hound, she is very shy at first—but full of spunk
and personality once she feels comfortable around you. Her favorite Yoga pose is Urdhvamuka Svasana (Upward Facing Dog Pose), with Balasana (Child's Pose) as a close second. However, she is a bit camera-shy when it comes to her Yoga practice.
Debbie also created a booklet to help others deal with their dogs’ cancer diagnoses; you can learn more about this project here. To view the Table of Contents of "Cancer and Your Greyhound" click here.
